We all see hunger and poverty around us and share a desire to make a difference. Kathir Dhan responds to hunger and malnutrition, rampant yet hidden from public view. Launched in 2010, we distribute high quality, nutritious meals produced at our kitchens in Chennai.

Kathir Dhan is an initiative of YR Gaitonde Medical Educational and Research Foundation.

This initiative saves the lives and dignity of children, women, elderly, and the differently abled at orphanages , destitute homes, and poorer communities in Chennai, through food donation.

Established in 2010, ECO Kitchen is a not-for-profit, centralised, industrial kitchen by the Y R Gaitonde Medical Educational and Research Foundation. It addresses economic stability within families affected by social, economic or other challenges, and improves food security in the community.
